About Brett Kelly

Brett is the Founder and CEO of Kelly+Partners. A loving husband, father and an extraordinary man of enterprise, his generosity and success has touched thousands. He has more than 20 years commercial and professional accountancy experience, specialising in assisting private clients, private business owners and families.

He commenced his career as a Chartered Accountant with 5 years at Price Waterhouse, and then worked at 3 mid-sized accounting firms. In 2006, Brett founded Kelly+Partners with businesses in North Sydney and the Central Coast, before building out the network to 16 businesses over 13 locations to date.

Inspirational and insightful, Brett has presented to over one thousand audiences ranging from the National Press Club in Canberra, to youth, business, community, sales and corporate groups. Brett is an excellent keynote speaker. He has the ability to captivate a wide range of audiences by making a potentially boring topic interesting, relevant and practical.

Brett is also the best-selling author of four books on life, business and wisdom.

In 1997 At age 22, unemployed, with no money, journalistic experience, connections, or publisher, he picked himself up, interviewed 34 leading Australian achievers, including Bob Hawke, Malcolm Turnbull, Poppy King, Gerry Harvey, Kathryn Greiner, Ray Martin, Imelda Roche, Jeff Kennett, Pat O’Shane and Peter Brock – raised the funds, gathered the expertise to self-publish ‘Collective Wisdom’ in 1998 and made it a national best seller.

Brett is the Co-Founder of Kelly+Partners Scholars (kellypartnersscholars.com.au), A Scholarship program that sends 6 students to Israel each year for an immersive entrepreneurial education program.
